Delusions of Grandeur

Is it a good thing that I made MSNBC's Blog Roundup?

Very cool. I'm impressed :-). I noticed on technorati once that Real Clear Politics linked to me because I commented on one of their blogs but I couldn't find where I was mentioned. It was frustrating.

I had the same thing with Riding Sun. All the search things find a link there, but I have no idea where it is.

Anyway, I think the MSNBC roundup is automated. But the high-visibility tends to storke the ego. I'm a little concerned about getting too much attention and hearing from the Navy about it. You never know what'll happen.

If you're on the same Blog Roll, it may cause it to happen, I have links from people showing on technorati, people i have NEVER heard of..

Oh well, free advertising a wonderful thing...

MSNBC's is based on Technorati keyword searches, and post links. It can increase your readership sometimes. It's one reason to quote the Washington Post and Newsweek, since they do technorati links with the articles.

Hell, if that's the case, CP, I feel dirty. I'll remember that next time. At least I only got one hit off of it.

That's how they do it. Throw the URL into your post, and if someone follows the link to them, they automatically add it to the list of blogs.

Didn't mean to make you feel dirty, want me to send you some soap?
